You'll never get a resource like that to work effectively. Use your own judgement based on value of your ship or implants at the time. You have to take a chance and hope the pirate will honour the contract. If you ever get ransomed by us I can assure you it will be be honoured. Makes no sense at all to dishonour it.

I am confident in my assumption that know absolutely nothing about which you speak.
The majority of pirates in my experience do honour ransoms because it is a vital source of income and you don't bite the hand that feeds you. This will probably have already been said a dozen times by now but when I read your post I thought, "What a tool, I have to reply"
